Week 4 into the prototype


So this is my first "public" video capture of the project 4 weeks into development. I was thinking about making a beat em up for quite a while and now it felt like the right time to explore all the technical challenges that come with it. 

It's quite interesting to me as a gamedeveloper to explore animation controllers and synced interactions for this project since those can be adapted to various other concepts that include close combat fighting. At this stage the opponent isn't much more than a two legged punshing bag but well ... got to start somehwere I guess :-)

Past two weeks I was mostly working on getting the stage environment to a semi-final polishing state in order to use this as a reference for a possible later production.
